Saturday, August 16, 2003 - Scott had a chance to perform portions of his "Danger Zone Stunt Show" in June at Pontiac Theatre IV's "Shake on the Lake" Festival. All who attended were amazed at Scott's whip stunts. Also, Scott's improv troupe, "Cottage Cheese House Players", have been performing at least two shows a month. For more info on improv shows, visit http://www.cottagecheesehouse.com.

Sunday, March 30, 2003 - With "Fiddler on the Roof" completed, Scott is working with the Starlight Theater on other productions. His improv troupe, the Cottage Cheese House Players, had two shows this weekend and more are on the way in the future. We'll keep you posted with show times.

Sunday, March 23, 2003 - Scott was hired by the Rising Stars youth theatre group to choreograph the sword fights for their production of Shakespeare's "Macbeth". The show went really well and Scott's looking forward to working with them again on a future production.

Monday, March 17, 2003 - Happy St. Patrick's Day! The Oakland Theatre Guild's production of "Fiddler on the Roof" just finished up yesterday. Scott played The Constable for a run of about 15 shows. Thanks to the wonderful cast and crew for making it a fantastic show and thanks to the audience for coming out and enjoying it.

Wednesday, December 25, 2002 - "I think I've discovered a secret to not gaining weight over the holidays. A straight jacket! That's right, I received one as a Christmas present and with just one escape attempt I think I burnt off all the cookies I've eaten so far. Escaping isn't as difficult as ... oh say, juggling knives or as dangerous as glasswalking, but it's definitely the most physically exerting bit of entertainment I've attempted thus yet. There are two methods for escaping. I was able to succeed with the easier one, but the more difficult way is much more impressive so I'm still working on that. Look for it in a show coming soon."

Friday, December 13, 2002 - The two magicians who normally play the part of Dr. Periwinkle out at Greenfield Village's Eagle Tavern couldn't make it this night so they called Scott to fill in. Donning a period 1850's costume, he entertained dinner guests with sleight-of-hand, including the spooky "Haunted Key" effect proving that Friday the 13th is an eerie day indeed.

Tuesday, November 26, 2002 - Scott had a public performance today at Oakland University for his Stage Dialects final exam. During the Music, Theatre, and Dance Department's "Noon Recital", Scott performed one monologue in a Brooklyn Dialect, and another with a Romanian Accent.

Sunday, September 8, 2002 - DropZone had an appearance at Ford Field today. While the Detroit Lions battled it out on the gridiron down in Miami, Scott and Chris joined over a dozen other performers entertaining football fans throughout the day as the game was broadcast on the big screen.

Tuesday, September 3, 2002 - It's been a while since I've had a chance to update this site; it's been a busy summer. Here's the latest archived news in reverse chronological order:

On August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Scott performed in Chicago for their first ever Buskers' Festival. Scores of performers from all over the world congregated in the New East Side performing all sorts of acts, including Scott's "Danger Zone Stunt Show". Photos and a journal write-up will be added soon. Look for then in the Green Room.

Middle School summer theatre group RISING STARS swashbuckled the stage performing "The Three Musketeers". Scott was pleased to be working with many talented actors as he choreographed all the sword fights for the production. Rumor has it he'll be contacted in the future to direct even more fights for upcoming shows. We'll be sure to keep you posted.

Friday, June 21, 2002 - Buttons have been added to the navigation field and the site has been rearranged a bit to streamline information and give the site a more theatrical feel. Some pages are still under construction so pardon the dust.

Saturday, June 8, 2002 - Last night Counterclockwork (Scott's old band) rocked Griff's grill with a 40 minute set of rock, punk, blues, and funk. Thanks to all the fans who could make it out. For those that couldn't, you really missed a great show. The entertainment manager at Griff's is already talking dates to book us again. We'll keep you posted as to when.

Saturday, April 27, 2002 - Oakland University's student directed play "Table Manners" by Alan Ayckbourn was a complete success! For all of you who made it out to see it, thanks a lot and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. For all of those who didn't, you really missed out on a great play. Special thanks to cast and crew for making it a memorable event.

Sunday, March 17, 2002 - Domain "scottdrebus.com" purchased and site uploaded. There are still plenty of additions and revisions that have to be made, but the site was ready enough to go ahead and launch.
