Dice stacking is one of the most useless things I know how to do. Well, it's a great entertainment skill, but it really has no practical purposes outside of wowing an audience. I mean, why would anybody want to stack four dice into a vertical column? And even if they did, why would they use a shaker cup to do it? Basically, that's all that dice stacking is. I drop four casino dice onto the table, hold a shaker cup mouth down, snatch up the dice one at a time with the cup, shake them about a few times on the table, and then stop. When I lift the shaker cup up off the table, the dice have miraculously stacked themselves into a vertical column. No strings are used, no magnets, no adhesives, or any other type of gimmick. Just pure skill. To use an old saying, "It's all in the wrist." Someday I may include a video of dice stacking on this web site because it truly is an amazing thing to watch. So amazing in fact my routine won second place in the Society of American Magicians, Chapter 255, Annual Close-Up Magic Competition.
